Built in London, by one person
Modraly is an alcohol tracker for iPhone and iPad, for people who still drink and want the numbers. It is not a recovery product.
Who
Quentin is an indie iOS developer in London. He builds Modraly alone. Follow the work on X (@QuentLaBrute), or write to support@modraly.com.
Why it exists
Most alcohol apps are sobriety programmes with a log attached. Modraly is the other way around: a diary that counts units, spend and calories, shows the weekly guideline for your country, and then stays quiet.
What it will not do
- Estimate blood alcohol. A wrong number is worse than no number.
- Coach, run a programme, or keep a sober streak.
- Ask for an account or send drinks to a Modraly server.
- Give medical advice.
If the goal is to drink less, start with moderate drinking vs quitting. If the goal is a private log, see an alcohol tracker with no account. The app comparison is honest about the cases where Modraly is the wrong choice.
Privacy
Drink logs stay on the iPhone. There is no Modraly account and no Modraly server. The privacy policy is the full version.
